PANORAMIC ROUTE “BETWEEN TWO MAGICAL SHORES”
Drive along coastal towns and beautiful beaches to Bar. The area of Bar has two equally beautiful shores - the Adriatic Sea and Skadar Lake. Between them lies the Rumija mountain massif. Driving through the thousand-year old olive groves, chestnut forests and vineyards is a real pleasure. The first stop is at the Stegvaš viewpoint, from where one can see a fantastic view of Lake Skadar and the landscape stretching all the way to Albania. After that, the tour continues to the following stops: The Old Well at Ostros, the Monastery of the Virgin of Krajina .
The trip then continues through a beautiful chestnut forest to the biggest and most beautiful beach on the lake front – the Murići beach. A panoramic tour of the monasteries Beška, Moračnik and Starčeva Gorica that date from the 13th and 14th centuries, as well as Grmožur Fortress, the so-called ''Montenegrin Alcatraz''. Swimming and lunch are planned on the Pješačac sand beach, which can be reached only by boat. A trip to Virpazar – a town that is built on three bridges straddling Lake Skadar.
In the evening, return to the hotel and have free time to walk around the city.
